The Solexity 350 is now in the shop and it is nice. It is an upright cruiser-style bike with a beautiful leather seat, hand grips to match and a back rack that integrates with both. It has a 350-watt Bionx motor that has serious pep. Its torque sensor rewards you by delivering more power to the motor the harder you pedal. It also has regen capability. This is something almost all our customer ask about. With regen, you can pedal and return power into the battery. It also works on downhills; if you set it on regen, the motor slows you down and generates power.
Bionx is a leading maker of e-bike kit components. Many of their motors, batteries, and controllers are found on bikes produced under other names, such as Solex. They are from Ontario so are about as local a manufacturer for e-bike parts as we can hope for.
This bike is a little more expensive than the Evelos we sell with a price tag of $2,899. But the features described above, a two-year warranty, and puncture-proof tires, make this a quality investment
